Did you know Twilight Camp is staffed entirely by Volunteers? Crazy right?! In order to bring the best possible programming to all our children in the SAFEST environment, we need each and every one of you. You do not have to be a Girl Scout leader to volunteer. What can I do, you ask?

  • Core staff- volunteers meet monthly beginning in January to plan all aspects of camp. If you're creative, like to lead activities or have good business sense this if the place for you.
  • Unit leader- During the week of camp you and another adult or Senior Caddie will 'shepherd' a group or "Unit" of 10 -12 girls. You will get to experience all 16 activities and visit all 4 sites at camp. A great way to camp with your daughter! (You do NOT have to be a Girl Scout leader for this position ~ all parents are welcome!)
  • Daily volunteer- Each day during the week of camp you will be assigned to a Program activity. You will assist the Core Staff volunteer to deliver programming. Volunteers are needed to assist with snacks, crafts, game playing, and paddle boarding. (No prior experience or specific skills are required, just a willingness to participate!)
  • Swim watcher- If you like sun & sand this is the job for you! Although the beach is staffed and monitored by trained Life Guards, your extra set of eyes help to keep track of campers in the water.
  • Pre-Camp Help- For those who absolutely, positively, cannot take any time off work to help during the week of camp we bring the work to you! Many of our activities need help cutting, tying, sorting, bagging etc. all of which can be done in the comfort of your own home.

If you'd like to learn more about joining the Core Staff right now, or if you have any questions about the ways in which you may volunteer, please Contact Us ASAP. You may register online as an Adult Volunteer for the remaining positions along with your daughter in May.
